Scheme of Scholarship to Artistes/Artists

The Akademi Scholarship Scheme, introduced by the Akademi in 1973, seeks to provide financial assistance to young artistes with outstanding potential for advanced training within India in different fields of art and culture. The Scholarship carries an amount of Rs. 2000/- per month which is tenable for two years. The Akademi annually selects 30 individuals as beneficiaries of this scheme.
